Altar Servers
Altar Servers assist the celebrant and worshiping community in the celebration of the Liturgy of the Mass, special liturgies and celebrations and the celebration of the sacraments.
Bereavement Committee
The sole objective of this dedicated group of volunteers is to be “a comfort in times of sorrow”. They prepare, set-up, cook, and serve the families of our parishioners after funerals. Our parish is indeed fortunate to have such a dedicated group of people who take care of us.

Meals for Moms
Meals for Moms helps welcome a new baby to our parish family! This is an opportunity to share in the mother's joy by delivering a meal to her family. If you or someone you know is having a baby, or if you would like to provide a meal when a baby arrives please contact the parish office at 251-928-5931 x105 or email.
Men of St. Joseph
The Men of St. Joseph is an association of Christian men united under the Catholic Church, who meet weekly to pray together and encourage each other to be the spiritual leaders of their families. The purpose of the Men of St. Joseph is to instill holiness in men and facilitate spiritual leadership in family and community life. They meet Tuesdays 6:30AM-7:30AM in the Dawn Room.
Nursery
Nursery is provided for 8:30am and 11:00am Mass on Sunday for children 3 and under. Loving employees and volunteers of the Church will take care of your bundles of joy as if they were their own.
Open Arms Grief Ministry
This support group is for anyone who is coping with grief of any kind-the loss of a loved one through death-or anyone who is experiencing a serious illness affecting either you or a family member. Our volunteers offer professional, confidential, loving, sympathetic and compassionate support. The group meets in the “Open Arms” Room on the second floor of the Family Center every Monday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 with facilitators Christopher Welch and Arleen Handler. Pilgrim Virgin
Have the Pilgrim Virgin statue in your home and pray the rosary with family and friends daily. To bring the blessings of this devotion to your home, you may sign up in the Church vestibule. Or, you can email your name, address, telephone number, etc. as well as the week you wish to the have the Pilgrim Virgin at your home. The dedicated men and women of this committee help make the special events at St. Lawrence a wonderful occasion.
St. Monica’s Group
In the Divine Mercy prayer room (also known as the cry room) there are first class relics of Monica and Augustine, side-by-side with a statue of St. Monica. Join the group Tuesdays at 7:45 a.m. to pray a novena to St. Monica for 15 minutes for loved ones who have fallen away from the faith and for all clergy and religious. The prayers are before an image and a relic of St. Monica. All are welcome.
Treasures
Treasures is the seniors group at St. Lawrence Parish. Treasures offers a program of social and spiritual interaction for parishioners and friends. On the 1st Monday of the month September-May they share a meal, visit with fellow parishioners and participate in interesting and informative programs. Treasures takes monthly trips to places of interest in the area. There is a nominal cost to cover gas for the bus, and admission to the attraction.
Treasures Gift Shop
Treasures Gift Shop provides a variety of gifts for all the Sacraments including books, medals, holy cards, statues, rosaries and much more. It is a resource for getting and Sharing God’s Love through gifts.

The usher is a person chosen to reflect the warmth and welcome of Christ himself. Always conscious of Christ’s words "For I was…a stranger and you welcomed me," (Matthew 25:35) the usher serves not only as a Minister of Hospitality, but also as a Liturgical Minister and a Minister of Evangelization.
